Hope you are having a good week! Here is the weekly connection for you Hopefully we haven’t missed anything!
Saturday morning at 9:00 is the WISH gathering for all ladies. We will be meeting in Veno Hall and our focus will be an “India” theme to spotlight the Indian women in our congregation. We’ll hear their stories, have some refreshments and learn a bit about Indian culture. All ladies are welcome and we would love to see you! Feel free to bring a snack to share if you want.
Please join in praying for our church needs each Sunday morning prior to worship in the church parlor. You are welcome to come and go as you need to. This time runs from about 8:30 to 9:15. Please check with Yuniya with any questions you may have.
Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00. Uplifting music, an encouraging message from Pastor Kevin and a time for prayer and praise are all part of worship. Meg’s team of volunteers are prepared to work with our young ones and share Christ with them. Be sure and invite someone to join you for coffee in Veno Hall following worship.
Do you have school age nieces, nephews, or grand kids? Do you know someone in the area who does? Invite them to join you on one of our April break adventures. Kids Connection families- be sure to invite friends and classmates to join you at these great outings!
We are blessed to have many different facets of our worship services that come together to provide a meaningful experience. We are always hoping to find ways to keep our time connecting with the Lord special. This week we want to focus on the need for support with our audio/visual component of worship. It would be very helpful to have more people able to attend to our computer projection on Sunday mornings – no experience needed, training is available. Contact Meg Nelson, firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping out.
You should have received a post card in the mail this week for our “Season of Prayer.” Place that card in a prominent place as a reminder to pray regularly for our church. Additional cards are available on the Resource Tables if you would like more.
We were thrilled to find a package in today’s mail from Michelle Hughes thanking us for our financial and prayer support. She also included beautiful prayer cards for us to remember her. Pick yours up on the Resource Tables and remember to also keep that in a prominent place where you will see it! Her thank you is also posted on the board near the Welcome Center.
