Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week! Here are the things to keep in mind over the next days and weeks.
Moms & Tots – Saturday at 11am at Meg’s Home in Foxboro, bring a snack to share and feel free to pack a lunch!
Sunday is Mother’s Day! Be sure and remember those special ladies in your life in some way – they will certainly appreciate it 🙂 Sunday worship begins at 10. We would love to see you! Pastor Kevin will be here but John Papirio, the Young Life Director for this area will be speaking. Young Life meets here on Monday evenings – so this is a great opportunity to put a face to a name! Great music, a time for prayers and praises, terrific music from our choir and fellowship with your church family and friends. Kids Connection and Nursery are both in place for the young ones.
During coffee time, the WISH group will continue their tradition of our Mother’s Day Bake Sale. The WISH group will be offering an array of delicious treats for purchase. Maybe take some home with you as well? The Bake Sale is offered in lieu of our regular snacks. Beverages will be available as usual. Please come prepared to support this fundraising activity! All proceeds will benefit our church ministries.
Did you notice the new window treatments in Veno Hall? Be sure and take a look! You should also see we have new bulletin boards as well. MINISTRY TEAMS are reminded to update your boards soon. Check out the WISH board from Cindy Rudolph for inspiration!
Reminder to all Kids Connection & Nursery Volunteers: Please RSVP for the team lunch-date on Saturday the 20th by Wednesday the 17th. Also, a reminder that filled out response forms for next year’s ministry team roster need to be returned to Meg by next Sunday the 21st. If you’re interested in helping out during the 2017-2018 school year, contact Meg as well by leaving a message in the church office or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
This week’s family connection update is this month’s tip on engaging kids in church, as well as links to two articles. One is an encouragement to parents of little ones as they bring their kids to church, and the other shares some practical tips on how to help kids of all ages. Even if you don’t have little ones of your own, take a look so you know how to best support our young families here at church! United Kids Connection!
Young Life meets on Monday evening at 7:27 on the top floor. Meg frequently posts videos during this time. Check them out on FB – good to see a large crowd of kids!
