Hello everyone, As October tumbles into November, please keep these things in mind as you plan your time.
We are excited that the Teen Challenge Women from Providence will be with us for Sunday morning worship at 10:00. This has become an annual event that we look forward to each year. The girls will have a display table in Veno Hall during coffee time where the jewelry they make is available for purchase. There will also be an opportunity for you to contribute to a love offering for Teen Challenge Women. Look for that in Veno Hall on Sunday. Kids Connection is in place as usual for Sunday.
The new study on “Mary” will meet for an abbreviated time this Sunday during coffee time in the Welcome Center. Keep an eye out for Pastor Kevin – he will mention when that study is going to begin. There will still be time for you to visit with the Teen Challenge girls and get your coffee and…cake 🙂
Sunday, we will have our Young Adult (Under 40) Discussion Group following worship at 11:15am in the council room. Grab your snacks and coffee and head on down! Kids are welcome to tag along, we can bring toys over from the kids spaces for them!
Young Life meets on Monday evening at 7:27 on the top floor. This is for all high school age kids.
Be sure and STOP in the Welcome Center on Sunday morning to pick up your supplies for Operation Christmas Child! Fill a shoe box for a child who will delight in getting a Christmas gift! For many kids, this is the first Christmas gift they have ever received. There is lots of good information on the display table – be sure and take a look! Our collection Sundays are November 12th and 19th. We will be looking for a volunteer to drop off the boxes on November 19th at the area distribution spot in Sharon. Let me know please, if that is something you can do.
